Description

This Lime Juice Tub and Ryebuck Shearer medley arrangement is in G major for mixed ability performers. These memorable tunes are played by violin, viola, and/or clarinet (Part A), with an option to add flute. This part also offers an advanced option in third position for violinists who wish to be challenged. Lively accompaniment is provided by violin, clarinet and/or viola (Part B), as well as cello, keyboard and/or bass clarinet (Part D).
Simpler parts for beginner violin, viola, clarinet and/or flute (Part C) and cello (Part E) are also included as optional additions. Lime Juice Tub & Ryebuck Shearer caters for a range of performance abilities, and what’s more, the engaging rhythms and metric modulations in this arrangement will certainly keep all players, no matter their performance level, alert and entertained!

How to use Lime Juice Tub and Ryebuck Shearer:

This arrangement for mixed ability players is suitable for a trio, chamber group or small orchestra using any combination of any number of the instruments listed above. Lime Juice Tub & Ryebuck Shearer is in three parts (Parts A, B & D) with two optional parts for beginner instrumentalists (Parts C & E); there are in general at least two different ability level options for each possible instrument. All you need to do is assign parts to the players in your ensemble while ensuring you have a satisfactory balance and blend of instruments. Some examples of instrument combinations include:

  • Part A Violin(s), Viola(s) and Clarinet(s) in B♭; Part B Violin(s) and Viola(s); Part C Beginner Violin(s) and Flute(s); Part D Cello(s) and Clarinet(s) in B♭; Part E Beginner Cello(s).
